Vancouver Vanishes starts at the top of the BC bestseller list!

Wonderful to be invited back to Whistler for the 2015 Whistler Writers Festival, October 15-18th.  I’ll be performing a selection from Ellen In Pieces at the literary cabaret and giving a Saturday morning workshop.  Check out the many other readings, workshops and performances here.

I’m honoured to be attending the upcoming Kingston Writersfest.  My events include Reading Women: Biscotti and Books, with three friends: Marina Endicott, Anakana Scofield and Joan Thomas.  I’ll also be giving a teen masterclass, Person, Place, Thing, as well as visiting local schools.  View the festival schedule here.

A History of Forgetting was published in 1999 by Key Porter Books in Canada and in 2000 by review in the UK.  It’s long been out of print in Canada, but now Biblioasis has republished it in its Reset series and is bringing it out in the US for the first time.  Here are the two new editions, substantially revised for republication.

What a privilege to be part of this festival in Alice Munro’s home town of Wingham, Ontario.  It is the setting for Lives of Girls and Women and much of her early fiction.  There I was, standing in front of Del’s house on the Flats Road in Jubilee!  Thank you to all the organizers!

A festival that honours one of my literary heroes!  And I get to be there!  The Alice Munro Festival of the Short Story takes place 4-7 June in Munro’s home town of Wingham, Ontario.  I’ll be doing two Master Classes and a reading.  See the full schedule of authors and events here.
